Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has paid tribute to the hard work of the Italian team during an event at their Maranello factory celebrating their victory in Singapore at the weekend. Fernando Alonso’s Marina Bay triumph was the squad’s second successive win, and pulled Ferrari back into contention for the constructors’ title after a mid-season lull.

?These wins are down to the work of the team and have not just dropped out of the sky through luck,? Montezemolo said, according to Ferrari’s official website. ?Everyone, from the people on the pit wall, to the pit stop crew, those in the garage, the people here in the factory and the drivers out on track, have all made a positive contribution.
